First Charter Asset Management Pty Ltd has joined Firm Constructions Pty Ltd in a joint venture to apply, via an Expression of Interest to supply and construct a 1642 bed accommodation facility at Gap Ridge in Karratha.
The design incorporates 682 motel rooms units and 480 2 bed 2 bath room apartments plus 5,300 sqm of office/commercial space and 4 café/restaurants. Concept Designed was created by Architect Tim Lewis Jones.
The design also incorporated many eco design and environmental features to reduce the carbon footprint and energy consumption of the development. A key feature of the design is 22,887 sqm of Photovoltaic panels on the roofs of the accommodation units to generate electricity for the facility. This solar powered power station would generate enough power for 1,072 homes and aims to make the facility energy neutral.
An investment opportunity would be created to enable external investors to participate in the syndication of this investment.
