Simon McGrath, Managing Director
Simon McGrath and Charmaine Robinson established First Charter in 2006. Simon is the Managing Director of the Manager and has over 23 years experience in funds management, financial planning, investment advising retail and wholesale clients. Simon has experience in direct equities, listed trusts, portfolio management, Superannuation, bonds and interest market securities, property development. Simon has also been managing the direct property development syndicates from concept through to completion. Simon is Managing Director of the First Charter Group and Managing Director and Responsible Officer for First Charter Capital Pty Ltd.
Responsible Managers
The Fund has appointed two responsible managers to assist the Directors. The Responsible Managers role is to assist the Directors in managing the Fund for the benefit of Unit holders.
Paul Teraci
Responsible Manager
Paul is a Licensed Property Valuer, Registered Real Estate Sales Representative and Property Facilities Manager, who has over 30 years experience working in the property markets with major institutions including ANZ Bank Hawaiian Management Group, Landcorp and Perron Group. Paul specifically has experience in commercial leasing of vacant space, conducting due diligence in relation to acquisitions, providing advice in relation
to risk factors, analysis of market trends and property valuations, sale and purchase strategies, joint venture arrangements, conducting due diligence and overseeing management processes.
Murray Colvin
Responsible Manager
Murray is a qualified solicitor, who has over 15 years experience providing legal advice to the operators of retail and wholesale funds management businesses and has formerly worked for a number of leading Australian funds management groups including Advance, ASGARD and Westpac. Murray's role included registering and establishing new managed investment schemes, statutory reporting, documenting compliance and providing legal assistance. Murray has also worked as lawyer with the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC) where he reviewed
prospectuses, licensing of dealers and investment advisers and provided legal advice and assistance to other staff.
