Each asset is assessed on the NABERS system (formerly known as Greenstar) NABERS is a performance-based rating system for existing and new buildings. NABERS rates a building on the basis of its measured operational impacts on the environment, and provides a simple indication of how well you are managing these environmental impacts compared with your peers and neighbours. NABERS now incorporates the Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR)
From an operations perspective, First Charter is able to deliver significant environmental solutions, savings and initiatives through the design, development, delivery and ultimate management of property assets. These provide benefits for the Group, environment and the communities in which we operate.
First Charter is a member of the West Australian Sustainable Energy Association Inc and is the peak body for the Sustainable energy industry in WA.
